Qorikancha (Cusco)

Japanese  ⇒ Sekai burari SHOT
Qorikancha was a religious center as a temple of the Sun in Inca Era.
"Qori" means gold,  "Kancha" means an enclosed space, bounded by walls. Therefore Qorikancha means "place that has gold".

The current Santo Domingo Church was built on the remains of Qorikancha, a temple of the Sun, demolished by the Spanish.

Courtyard which has a fountain with octagonal corners in the center.

Windows on the wall overlap through several rooms exactly.

Each room is enclosed in orderly stonework.

Stonework of Inca is said that even a blade of razor is impossible to pass through between stones.
